Hi, I am Alina!

A People Place
by William J. Crocker

If this is not a place where tears are understood,
Where do I go to cry?
If this is not a place where my spirits can take wing,
Where do I go to fly?
If this is not a place where my questions can be asked,
Where do I go to seek?
If this is not a place where my feelings can be heard,
Where do I go to speak?
If this is not a place where you’ll accept me as I am,
Where can I go to be?
If this is not a place where I can try to learn and grow,
Where can I be just me?

Follow your HEART, it knows the WAY!

Are you in search for a committed guide to walking the path together so that you can concur your own wellbeing “Everest”?

My practice approaches the individual as a whole, addressing the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level, starting from the premise that any human being, like all systems in nature, “blooms” when she/he is in balance.

Combining Western knowledge and ancient wisdom teachings, I managed to reconnect with myself and rebalance in the WHOLE (Mind, Heart, Body and Purpose).

I passionately believe  that people are the most precious and valuable resource and wealth that each of us has. It gives me energy to be among people, to observe what is not being expressed, to discover new meanings & perspectives and to connect ideas & individuals.
My life journey took me from the hilly and cultural city of Iasi in Romania to the windy and green Leidschendam in The Netherlands. It brought me many opportunities of reinventing myself professionally and of discovering, step by step, who I am, what gives me joy and strength and what helps me navigate life’s waves.

The choices we make define us and create our reality. While I chose Psychology as my professional path, along the way, I had the chance to explore, in practice, its various perspectives (counseling, HR, training, coaching and mentoring), and to deepen many concepts related to life transitions, as a daughter, sister, mother, wife, friend and employee.

My quest to grow my knowledge and toolbox on how to live life joyfully and with inner peace led me to stories of wisdom around the world which helped me to redefine my beliefs about health, vitality, balance and death and heal my emotional wounds.

Some of the features which make me unique? I am not afraid to look outside of the “box”. I believe there are no boxes, only the ones we put ourselves in. My holistic approach aims to provide you with different perspectives (IQ/EQ/PQ/SQ) and an helicopter view point. While focusing on the half full and cultivating trust & abundance, I dare to challenge and compassionately address the “elephant in the room”.

Having my fair share of personal transitions (taking care of sick family members from the distance, witnessing my mom’s light being taken away by dementia, losing my parents and brother, learning how to parent an autistic child while finding support in a foreign language and system) taught me how to be comfortable with being authentic while showing and owning vulnerability.

My desire and ability to delve deeper, beyond what meets the eye, enable me to guide you through  a profound and sustainable transformation. For me personal growth it’s not about achieving goals, but about increased awareness, consistently making different choices  and committing to practice.

Last, but not least, I strive to walk along and support people facing difficult life transitions (such as long-term sickness and death) as a mean of paying forward the support I received in my own healing journey.

QiGong - a practice for Transforming Stress into Vitality

When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. (Buddhist proverb)

My QiGong story started in 2019 during a retreat in a Buddhist monastery. Having practiced different yoga styles before, I found QiGong to be more accessible as most of the routines were done standing, there was no need for a mat and it combined harmoniously physical exercise (gentle yet powerful), breathing, mind clearing and connecting with nature. Moreover, it was easy to flow and be present in the movement. It spoke to me in volumes and it was easy to integrate it in my daily life as I could do it anywhere, anytime, just as I was.

As I didn’t know much about it, I started to research and step by step, I learned more and more and got to discover my teacher, Lee Holden. This brought to life for me the Buddhist proverb “when the student is ready, the teacher will appear”.

You might not have encountered this practice before so here is a short introduction.

Qi Gong was developed by Taoist sages in ancient China over 4,000 years ago. Since that time, it has been an important part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, offering numerous benefits for physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.

“Qi” means “life-force energy.” Everything that takes place within the body is a reflection of this mysterious energy. Your thoughts, feelings, and physical experiences are all manifestations of Qi within you.

“Gong” means “to work with.” Therefore, Qi Gong means “to work with life-force energy.”

In Qi Gong, working with life-force energy often focuses on letting go of stress, cultivating joy, and boosting physical vitality and health. However, there are limitless ways to apply the principles of Qi Gong to help you live your best life.

The practice generally uses slow, flowing movements coordinated with meditations and the breath.
